By the last steamer
last year I duly received
your letter together with
the plan & drawings
of the essay (ATH) on the Thing-
valla.
now send you by Captain
Andersen 35 (thirty five)
pounds sterling, on the
the understanding that

the plan belongs to
me & that no copy
of it will be published
in Denmark or elsewhere.
It seems to me very
well done, though I do
not agree in some
parts of your essay (ATH)
as to portion of
Courts on the
Thingfield during the
middle ages; but that
is a small matter.

if you will write
me a letter (ATH) to say that
you have received the
money by the next
steamer.
I trust that you & all
my friends in Iceland
